Join us for a special yarning session with the cast from Yirra Yaakin’s production of Which Way Home, exploring themes of identity, family and returning home to Country.

Gwoonwardu mia Guided tour with Wooramulla
Step into Gwoonwardu Mia on Yinggarda Country for a guided cultural experience with Wooramulla Journeys. Led by Yinggarda Elder Rennee, explore bushfoods, stories and immersive exhibitions including “Burlganjya Wanggaya – Old People Talking.” More than a visit, it’s a chance to connect with culture and Country.

Which Way Home - Yirra Yaakin
A powerful story of love, legacy and the road home.
Tash takes the wheel on a road trip home to Country with her Dad, journey filled with humour, heart and reflection. Inspired by writer Katie Beckett’s own experiences, Which Way Home is a deeply personal story exploring family, identity and belonging, performed by real-life father and daughter Derek and Shaquita Nannup.

A full program of activations will unfold throughout the day at Gwoonwardu Mia, bringing together culture, creativity and community on Country. As the sun sets, the celebration continues along the Fascine with live music and a spectacular drone show lighting up the night sky.
Coming home to carnarvon with brooke blurton
Join us for a special evening with Brooke Blurton as she returns home to Carnarvon for an intimate conversation celebrating identity, connection and storytelling.
Brooke will share reflections on her journey, career and new book Big Love in a 30-minute conversation, followed by an audience Q&A. Selected participants will also have the opportunity to have their copy of Big Love signed.

Drone Show & Skyshow Finale
The heart of Carnarvon comes alive as the Gnulli Festival builds to its biggest celebration across the Main Street and Fascine.
This free, all-ages event brings community together on Country for an unforgettable evening of music, culture and storytelling. Experience powerful cultural moments as Yinggarda and Baiyungu voices share stories that connect people, place and history—grounding the night in the true spirit of Gnulli, “All of Us / Two of Us.”
The Main Stage will come alive with an incredible line-up of live performances, featuring headline acts including Shane Howard and the Great Western Band, Proud Mary, Caravãna Sun, and the legendary Kankawa Nagarra (Olive Knight).
As the sun sets over the Fascine, the sky becomes the stage with a breathtaking drone show by Fremantle Biennale, weaving stories through light and movement above the water. The night will close with a spectacular skyshow finale, lighting up Carnarvon in a powerful celebration of culture, community and connection.
